Insurance/Payment
We accept most major insurances and as a courtesy, we will bill your insurance company for you. Copays are due at time of service. All insurance eligibility must be verified prior to acceptance. If we are unable to verify your insurance, for any reason, or have a “high deductible”, we will require a deposit of $75.00 to be paid at the time of service. Verification of Eligibility is NOT a guarantee of payment by your insurance. Payment is determined solely by your insurance provider. After your insurance claim has been processed, we will either bill you for the balance or issue you a refund if over payment was made. You are responsible for all charges incurred if your insurance coverage is not in effect at the time of service or for services not covered by your plan. Outstanding balances must be paid before you can be seen again. We highly recommend that you contact your insurance company’s Customer Service Department prior to your visit to Tracy Urgent Care so you know what is and is not covered.
Please be prepared to provide these items at the time of services:
- A government issued picture ID
- And your Insurance card
PLEASE NOTE:
Kaiser and Sutter Gould will not pay for services at Tracy Urgent Care. If you choose to be seen here anyway, you will be required to pay at the time of service and we will assist you to attempt to collect reimbursement from your insurance.
Health Plan of San Joaquin (Medi-Cal) patients can only be seen here if all of the below are applicable:
- TRACY URGENT CARE is listed as the PCP
- The location on the card is TRACY URGENT CARE
- And you are already established in this office – we are currently not accepting any new HPSJ /Medi-Cal patients
If you require urgent medical care that cannot wait until you can see your primary physician, you must first contact HPSJ to obtain a prior authorization or go to the ER.
